On this High-Tech Sunday episode, the hosts sit down with Donnell Campbell, recently appointed head of inclusion and diversity for a global IT recruitment business specializing in the banking and financial services sectors.
Before taking up his current appointment, Campbell spent more than 18 years with Aerotek Inc. and served as a diversity & inclusion (D&I) board member for more than a decade.
Growing up in Detroit in the '80s and '90s, Campbell was surrounded by the then-nascent Hip Hop culture, where his passion for diversity & inclusion (D&I) began. Campbell received the stage name DJ Smooth early on in his Dj career because of his ability to blend music. Using his performance experience, Campbell has built a top local DJ service where everyone is valued, equal, inspired, and empowered to be a positive change agent throughout our communities. This combination of experiences has led to national recognition as the Hip Hop D&I Guy.
