Mandakini Kanungo, Ph.D., is a research associate in Corning's Research and Development division.
As a project manager and material/process scientist in the Surfaces Research group, she shares her expertise in engineering fields.
Dr. Kanungo has over 80 patents and 30 externally published, peer-reviewed journal articles.
She is also a coach for a Math Club at the Corning-Painted Post Middle School and led the team to medal performance at the GAIM (Girls Adventure in Math) competition held in Cornell.
In addition, she volunteers for First Lego Robotics advising students on independent research projects.
“Dr. Kanungo is a well-respected scientist with a strong history of performing at the highest levels throughout her career. She is an outstanding example of all that a scientist can be, both in the lab and in the broader community,” said Dr. Todd St.Clair, a senior research manager at Corning Incorporated.
