Tracey Espero is director of platform programs, Orca program manager, and Maritime Undersea Huntington Beach Site Executive program manager for Orca at The Boeing Company.
CTracey leads a trailblazing autonomous submarine program that is opening up a new market for Boeing.
The Extra Large Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (XLUUV) program is part of autonomous systems managed by the Naval Sea Systems Command,
the largest of the United States Navy's five systems commands or materiel organizations.
Work for the XLUUV program is expected to be completed by September 2021.
Tracey is also committed to promoting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
During the last seven years (except for the pandemic months) she has planned and hosted a Space Camp on her own for her community.
Tracey earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University and a Leadership Skills Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles.
