Takia Easley is a program manager for Pratt & Whitney, with Raytheon Technologies.
As business acquisition manager, she led a cross-functional team that developed program requirements, estimated resources required to execute, and delivered government-compliant proposals to schedule.
In addition to her role of capturing business opportunities, Takia is responsible for delivering engineering capability, spare assets, and overhaul repairs through the sustainment program.
Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney, Takia spent 12 years in the aerospace industry developing design engineering and project management skills.
She has a passion for developing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) talent, and served as a facilitator with a National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Pre-College Initiative introducing middle school and high school students to aerospace engineering.
Takia has also worked with the Minority Indianapolis Engineering Program to introduce students to different engineering disciplines and host college tours. She served as a campus manager for Alabama A&M University, where she recruited diverse engineers as co-op students and partnered with the university on senior design projects.
