The STEM Success Summit is a free virtual conference designed to equip and empower young adults (ages 18–35), who are traditionally underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to build successful careers in STEM fields. This year’s event takes place November 17 – 20.

Now in its third year, the STEM Success Summit offers mentorship and networking events, workshops, and presentations designed to inspire young adults and equip them to navigate the science and engineering professional landscape. This year’s guests include:

“With our program, we want to build a new image of success,” says Justin Shaifer, STEM Success Summit co-founder. “Whether your aspirations are in software development, research, medicine, or tech entrepreneurship, success can look just like you: young, gifted, and diverse.”

This year’s summit also will include the inaugural presentation of the STEM Awards, acknowledging seven individuals for their contributions to advancing minorities in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (STEAM).

The STEAM Awards will honor both professional achievement and commitment to outreach, diversity, and the elevation of underrepresented voices.

The STEM Success Summit is sponsored by CVS Health, Santa Clara University, and North Carolina State University College of Engineering. Their support will allow the summit to award $10,000 in scholarships to attendees of this year’s event. Applications for the STEM Success Summit Scholarship are open now, and the scholarship will be awarded during the summit.
