Nicole Hill, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project engineer and 2021 Technology Rising Star, was featured recently by U.S. Army online.
According to the profile, Hill is responsible for construction contracts valued at over $320 million. Her accomplishments include housing tower complexes that will accommodate over 400 military families, a barracks complex with a capacity for over 600 unaccompanied soldiers, a pet care center, several roads, and infrastructure improvements.
“As a project engineer somewhat new to the USACE, Ms. Hill is a rising star within the construction division as a self-motivated problem solver who takes great pride in her work,” said Aaron Schuff, family housing resident office chief for the USACE Far East District. “A mechanical engineer by education, she has a wide range of critical skills to contribute to her projects, her resident office, and the construction industry.”
Prior to working for USACE, Hill worked for private sector firms, performing both public and private construction work and capital improvements. For over a decade, Hill has dedicated her career to advancing in the engineering field. She is currently studying for her Professional Engineering exam and is looking to enroll in a master’s degree program.
Hill is a military spouse and recently transferred from the USACE Wilmington District, with her spouse and two children, to U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys.
