Dr. Pamela McCauley, the 2019 Women of Color Technologist of the Year, is a prolific author. Her books include an introduction to ergonomics, a handbook for women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and "Winners Don’t Quit: Today They Call Me Doctor," where she shares hard-won accomplishments despite little motivation to go to college as an insecure teenage mother.
Dr. McCauley’s latest book is titled Engineering for Teens: A Beginner’s Guide for Aspiring Engineers. This engaging book is aimed at middle and high school students who may be interested in a STEM career but aren’t sure where to start.
