Baltimore- Feb. 10, 2022 - Communications Group (CCG) launched Stem City USA in 2021. This platform is designed to bring the resources needed for career success to young people as well as connect professionals in STEM careers. The virtual community environment aims to close the digital divide and provide K-12 students with access to benefit from online learning opportunities.
As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, we are striving to educate our audience about the rich culture in Black films. CCG is proud to announce “Black as Night” movie nights on the STEM City USA platform with Faye Gruzinski and Nikkie Stevens.
This event is part of CCG’s ongoing effort to bring people into the metaverse, a combination of multiple elements of technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality and video where users "live" within a digital universe. Join Faye and Nikkie every Friday at 8 p.m. the month of February as they sit down to watch and discuss classic Black films.
“Faye and Nikkie are a delightful addition to our team, I’m really looking forward to their presentations of Black films. Grab a snack and a beverage every Friday and join Faye and Nikkie for ‘Black a Night’ movie nights this February,” Dr. Tyrone Taborn, CEO of Career Communications Group, said.
STEM City USA is a platform that helps promote the growth and flourishment of underrepresented communities by providing opportunities to network and receive information which is essential to the advancement of the community. This platform will serve as a medium to provide healthy living tips and advice to attendees during the recurring events.
