The 28th annual Women of Color Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Conference will officially begin on Thursday.
The event is themed "Oceans of Change, Waves of Opportunities" with a sub-focus on "The AI Renaissance: Empowering Women and Transforming the Future."
The Women of Color STEM Conference is a premier platform that recognizes and promotes the significant contributions made by women in STEM fields.
This year's theme aims to highlight the advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the significant role that women are playing in this rapidly progressing sector.
The conference will explore the impacts and opportunities created by AI across various sectors, from energy and infrastructure to healthcare and finance.
Participants will engage in interactive workshops, enlightening seminars, and inspiring keynote speeches to explore how AI is shaping our world.
"Our goal is to inspire, educate, and empower women to be at the forefront of this technological revolution, ensuring they are not just active participants but leaders in the AI field," said the event organizer.
The conference keynote speakers comprise some of the most influential women in the realm of AI, and they will share their valuable insights, experiences, and visions for the future of AI.
The three-day conference will also offer networking events, mentorship opportunities, and a career fair featuring representatives from leading STEM employers.
The annual Women of Color in STEM Awards Gala will be one of the highlights of the conference, recognizing women making significant contributions to STEM and AI.
The conference is essential for women in STEM fields, aspiring young scientists, educators, and anyone committed to advancing women in technology.
