Stephanie Manuel Bailey was awarded the Women of Color Technologist of the Year Award in 1998 for her outstanding work.
She began her career with Price Waterhouse Management Consultants in 1978 and eventually became a partner at PwC Consulting.
Later, she worked as the vice president for customer service and marketing technologies at American Express before joining Fannie Mae in 2004 as the vice president for enterprise resource management.
She also worked as a consultant in the Greater New York City area for application strategy, architecture, and governance.
She spent almost ten years as director of business systems delivery at Con Edison.
After retiring in 2019, she started an information technology consultancy and volunteered with the Blanton-Peale Institute & Counseling Center.
Stephanie also serves as treasurer for this mental health advanced training institute and publicly available counseling clinic and is an Elder at the Marble Collegiate Church, a diverse, inclusive community where she served as chair of the board for ten years.
She has received several Norman Vincent Peale awards from the Blanton-Peale Institute & Counseling Center, which provides mental health care to people in New York City and trains mental health professionals, leaders, and other caring people with the tools of psychology, mental health, and spirituality.
