Mahathi Choudhry, currently a field application engineer at Lattice Semiconductor, is a true trailblazer when it comes to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Her efforts earned her several awards during her career at Intel. She won a Special Recognition Award for Diversity Leadership at the Women of Color STEM Conference.
Among many workforce initiatives at Intel, she was vocal about inclusion in the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) and led the Mother's Room Improvement at PSG, which involved discussions with working mothers and meetings with the company's facilities manager.
Her efforts resulted in the addition of a privacy screen at the San Jose campus, towel dispensers, table fans, couches, lead-free wall color and paintings, and other additions for the mothers at PSG.
Choudhry was recognized as an Innovation Coach, the highest badge of honor awarded by Intel for Innovation in June 2020.
In May 2021, she received the Truth and Transparency Culture Award from the Intel Internet of Things Group Industrial Solutions Division for moderating and enabling a psychological safety panel and content along with a team.
Her goal was to establish the Industrial Solutions Division as a trailblazer for creating an environment of psychological safety.
Apart from these awards, Choudhry was also recognized as a "Culture Champion" by the emerging growth and incubation group in Intel Capital.
She was a core member of Intel's Inclusion & Diversity Workshop Design and Rollout. She also participated in employee resource groups and served as a mentor to emerging professionals.
Choudhry has also been actively involved in promoting STEM education for girls.
She was part of the development of the Get SET Program, which aimed to encourage high school girls through hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) workshops.
