Joan Robinson-Berry, second from the right, is a 2015 Women of Color (WOC) Professional Achievement Award Winner.

She is also a well-known figure in the WOC Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) conference circuit

She has been a consistent participant in the conference's "Breakfast with Leaders & Legends" show, hosted by the 2019 Technologist of the Year Pamela McCauley, who is standing first from the left.

This week, Career Communications Group (CCG) announced that CCG hall of famer Joan Robinson-Berry will be chairing the Women of Color Impact Awards ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel in Detroit.

Throughout her career, Berry has been a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, mentoring numerous individuals and promoting opportunities for women and minorities in STEM fields.

With a distinguished career at Boeing and a legacy of promoting opportunities for women and minorities in STEM, Berry's leadership will bring unparalleled insight and inspiration to the event.

The Women of Color Impact Awards at the 29th annual WOC STEM Conference celebrate and honor the outstanding achievements of women who have made significant contributions in environmental sustainability, technology, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Women of Color Impact Awards aim to recognize the extraordinary contributions of women making a difference in their communities and industries.

This year's awardees include leaders in various fields who have demonstrated exceptional skill, innovation, and dedication. Awards to be presented at the event include Environmental Sustainability, STEM Education, Technology, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
