The 29th annual Women of Color STEM Conference is taking place from October 3-5 in Detroit, and also on the WOC STEM digital twin experience (DTX) platform.
The event is produced and hosted by Career Communications Group's Women of Color magazine.
WOC STEM DTX is the chosen forum for celebrating the significant achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
This year's event is expected to draw thousands of people, including industry leaders, STEM professionals, students, and advocates, for a three-day experience.
The conference offers insightful tech talks, a technology expo, and networking opportunities. It will also feature engaging keynotes, professional development panels, and seminars, making it an ideal gathering for those in STEM fields.
The conference also includes a career fair with leading regional and national employers for scientists and engineers.
The event's theme, "Waves of Change and Oceans of Opportunity," was reflected in the keynote speeches. Exhibitors at the Technology Expo include prominent companies such as Abbott, Apple, Booz Allen Hamilton, Google, HII, HP, Infosys, and many others.
