In 2009, Congress established the second week of April as National Robotics Week to acknowledge the growing significance of this sector in the U.S. economy.
Since then, robotics experts from various industries and academic fields have collaborated to create a "national platform" for robotics technology. National Robotics Week aims to inspire students to pursue careers in robotics and STEM-related fields.
This year, the annual event was held from April 6 to 14, during which Women of Color Online showcased professionals from the magazine's 40 Under 40 List.
Women of Color magazine's "40 Under 40" lists highlight STEM leaders who are already making significant contributions to shaping the future of technology.
These early-career professionals were nominated for awards at the Career Communications Group conferences.
