The U.S. Postal Service will launch new STEM Education Forever Stamps to celebrate the role of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in keeping America a global leader in innovation.
Designed to pique the curiosity of the viewer, each of these four stamps features a collage of faces, symbols, drawings and numbers that represent the complexity and interconnectedness of the STEM disciplines.
Artist David Plunkert worked with art director Antonio Alcalá to create these stamps.
The U.S. Postal Service will salute the role of STEM education with a First-Day-of-Issue Dedication Ceremony on
Friday, April 6, 2018, at the USA Science & Engineering Festival in Washington, DC 20001.
Followers of the U.S. Postal Service’s Facebook page can view the ceremony live at facebook.com/USPS.
