Brenda M. Johnson-Turner was appointed as the Director of Real Estate and the Chief, South Pacific Division and Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Regional Integration Team for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on November 16, 2014.
She is one of the newest members of the federal government’s Senior Executive Service, a corps of executives responsible for the direction of the federal government and public servants.

Johnson-Turner’s career spans 15 years of civilian leadership and management experience.
The real estate mission is executed by 1,000 real estate professionals who oversee 24 million acres of Army-controlled land, with annual expenditures of approximately $1 billion.
As the Chief of the South Pacific Division and Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Regional Integration Team, Johnson-Turner integrates product and service mission areas for projects exceeding $700 million annually.
Johnson-Turner earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Alcorn State University and has earned several certificates, to include the Facilities Engineer Level III. She is also a member of the International Right of Way Association.
