Shanique Smith is director of Low Rate Initial Production for Air and Missile Defense Radar within Raytheon Missiles and Defense.
Smith is responsible for all facets of program management and execution of the Navy’s AN/SPY-6(V) Low Rate Initial Production contracting, including build, test, and delivery for integration into Arleigh Burke, Flight III Destroyers.
Smith has been credited for building a high-performing team across multiple disciplines while focusing results on a common goal. Through her collaborative leadership style, she is able to engage the team to produce the greatest possible results for the business.
She creates an environment where everyone is comfortable sharing their ideas and offering solutions, which allows the team to work through challenging issues productively.
An active member of the company's employee resources groups, Smith celebrates and promotes Raytheon’s diverse and inclusive culture.
Recently, she participated in employee resource group mentoring events with the Raytheon Women’s Network and Raytheon Black Employee Network, where she was selected to sit on panels with some of the most senior leaders supporting inclusive advancement in the workplace.
