LaShan Bonaparte, a program director of the 505 & 429 Bell, is recognized by her colleagues as a role model. She leads all program management relating to Bell’s 505 and 429 Commercial Aircraft Programs developing and supporting commercial helicopter products.

Bonaparte led the team in successfully certifying the new 505 Jet Ranger X Helicopter with the airworthiness authorities of Transport Canada Civil Aviation, the Federal Aviation Administration in the United States, and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, an agency of the European Union with responsibility for civil aviation safety.

Bonaparte is valued by her team for her dedication to building relationships and partnerships to achieve success.

During her career at Bell, she has served as the chief engineer of the H-1 Upgrade Program. In that capacity, she was responsible for leading a cross-functional team managing all technical aspects of the program for one of Bell’s premier customers, the U.S Marine Corps.
