Each year the magazine serves as a host of the Women of Color STEM Conference, which recognizes the achievements of underrepresented women in STEM.
The award components of our STEM conferences are powerful tools in motivating youth, mentors, and influencers on the urgency of being college ready in order to fully engage a rapidly changing global world. By sharing narratives of honorees at different points in their journeys, everyone is able to see that they too can engage in STEM activities.
The conference also offers professional development seminars and a large career fair for students and professionals.
