Airbus, a leading European aerospace corporation known for manufacturing helicopters and airlines, has announced the appointment of Carmen-Maja Rex as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective April 1, 2025.
In this position, she will be a member of the Executive Committee and will report directly to Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury.
In a press statement, Faury expressed his enthusiasm for working with Carmen-Maja Rex as Airbus undertakes a significant transformation to address current and future challenges that demand a skilled, diverse, and motivated global workforce.
Rex began her career as a consultant with Accenture in 1999 before joining the United Nations in 2003.
In 2010, she started working at Siemens, where she held various leadership roles in human resources.
Most recently, in 2020, she became the human resources group director at Heidelberg Materials, one of the world's largest manufacturers of integrated building materials and solutions, employing a global workforce of 51,000 people across more than 50 countries.
