The Alabama A&M University engineering senior met Career Communications Group CEO Tyrone Taborn (center) for the first time since last year when several students were offered internships at Career Communications Group's (CCG) Women of Color STEM Conference.
Joining CCG's Taborn were AMIE college and university engineering deans Robin N. Coger (left) and Chance Glenn (right) as they congratulated Jerrion on landing a full-time position with JPMorgan Chase, the investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City.
AMIE, which marked its 25th anniversary in Huntsville, Alabama last week, is a regular participant of CCG's job fairs, which focus on the promotion of opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to historically underrepresented groups.
AMIE's college and university partners include all of the historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) with ABET-accredited schools. Last fall, several HBCU students were offered internships at the Women of Color in STEM Conference.
