Did you know AT&T has nearly 15,000 women working in roles related to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) jobs with over 1,100 earned patents?
Each year, the Women of Color Conference is a forum of choice to recognize the significant contributions of STEM women from diverse backgrounds who create innovation and inspiration.
Technology All-Star awardees are accomplished women of color with 22 years or more in the workforce. They have demonstrated excellence in the workplace and communities. Tech Rising Stars are women with 21 years or less in the workforce who are helping to shape technology for the future.
In 2017, fifteen AT&T women were honored at the Women of Color STEM Conference. The Tech All-Stars included Monique John, lead product marketing manager; L. Michelle Smith, director-Public Relations; Cassandra Borders, area manager-Network Services; and La Shawn Johnson, area manager-Network Process & Quality; the Technology Rising Stars that year included Sabrina McKnight, director-Advanced Analytics, and Candace Weber, lead product marketing manager.
In 2021, AT&T Tech All-Stars included Kimberly Hatten, area manager of network services; Marilynn Fair, director-compliance; Montrease Collier, director-project program mgmt.; Renee Nicholson, lead channel manager; Stacey Rivers, director-people growth and skills strategy; Stephanie Thornton-Neal, area manager workplace planning; Lynda House-McPeters, director-technology; Yalonda Moore, associate director-technology; Tonia Jenkins, telecommunications specialist; and Ria Smith-David, director- human resources.
Tech Rising Stars included Lonnie Attucks, lead product marketing manager, and Shannon Couch, director-channel marketing.
