Delores Alexander, vice president of supplier management in The Boeing Company's Global Services, will receive a Career Achievement in Industry Award during WOC DTX 2021.
Alexander joins a long line of Boeing executives who have received these prestigious Women of Color (WOC) awards.
The list includes Charlotte Lin, Ph.D., director of the airborne surveillance testbed program, Sandra Jeffcoat, the first Black woman to be named Technical Fellow at Boeing, and Pamela D. Carter, a retired Air Force colonel who went on to become vice president for business development in defense, space, and security at the world's largest aerospace company.

Alexander joined the company as an entry-level contract negotiator. Today, she is responsible for more than $9 billion aftermarket spending and manages a team of people that numbers well over a thousand.
Her trailblazing career achievements make her an inspiring role model.
She is an active member and chair of the audit committee for the Phoenix Chapter of The Links organization. This service organization, run by women to support communities in need, introduced Phoenix's first NSBE Jr. (National Society of Black Engineers Junior) program. Annually, she volunteers 50 to 60 hours in community services in support of the Links.
She is also chair of the Advisory Board for Gonzaga University's School of Leadership Studies and is a Greater Phoenix Urban League member.
She is a passionate volunteer with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and she focuses on supporting young women's technical and scientific pursuits.
