Addi-Neequie "Addi" Stone joined Lockheed Martin Corporation in 2015—the same year her brother volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army. It is this military connection to her work that motivates her to deliver the best and safest product.
In 2016, Addi was selected as a member of Lockheed Martin's Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP), a three-year program designed to shape early-career engineers into leaders.
As an ELDP participant, Addi attended leadership development conferences and completed challenging rotational assignments, including serving as a deputy program manager for the F-16 training systems portfolio and integration and test lead for the F-35 autonomic logistics information system.
Currently, she is an Aegis mission planner DevOps architect. Mission Planner is a technology that takes input from troops, allowing them to calculate real-time system solutions for various mission types, such as integrated air and missile defense.
Addi fosters professional and career growth for her department’s employees by defining, measuring, and promoting the skills required to solve Mission Planner technological challenges.
Addi is also involved in Lockheed Martin business resource groups (BRG). She serves on the Black Excellence Council (BEC) development committee, where she is responsible for co-piloting a program that pairs BEC community champions with new hires as they adjust to corporate culture and navigate the multigenerational and unconventional work environment.
Addi earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and a master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Central Florida. She sets the standard for an early-career science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) leader and is a driving force in all that she does, making her the perfect role model for a modern-day technology leader.
