She was also a systems engineering manager for the F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System program, where she led enterprise test efforts for a critical component of F-35 logistics technology.
In addition, she served as the project engineer and integration and test lead for the Warfighter Simulation Intelligence Module Entity Resolution Federation Program.
Kayann is passionate about developing talent and mentoring early career professionals.
She earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida and a master's in engineering management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Beyond her work, Kayann is an active volunteer in her community. She regularly participates in Lockheed Martin's National Engineers Week (E-week) activities, volunteering as a teacher to engage students in STEM education.
She also participates in the company-hosted Aviation and STEM Day at the Orlando Science Center, demonstrating one of the company's flight simulators.
Kayann is involved with the Girl Scouts, serving as a troop leader to help young girls develop essential life skills and confidence.
She further demonstrates her commitment to young women through her involvement with the PACE Center for Girls, serving as a positive role model for at-risk girls and introducing them to STEM pathways.
