Baltimore- Jan. 26, 2022– Communications Group (CCG) launched Stem City USA in 2021. This platform is designed to bring the resources needed for career success to young people as well as connect professionals in STEM careers. The virtual community environment aims to close the digital divide and provide K-12 students with access to benefit from online learning opportunities.
CCG is proud to announce the HBCU Mixer taking place in STEM City USA. This event will feature special guests including Boeing recruiter, David Canada, Alabama A&M University dean, Zhen Deng, and HBCU student leaders. This is an opportunity for students to learn about available STEM careers, our college job fair, and HBCU events for our upcoming 2022 BEYA conference.
This networking event is part of CCG’s ongoing effort to bring people into the metaverse, a combination of multiple elements of technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality and video where users “live” within a digital universe.
“CCG is on a mission to provide HBCU students a unique opportunity to excel in their careers. This HBCU mixer is a way to allow students to mingle and learn about STEM careers available to them,” Dr. Tyrone Taborn, CEO of Career Communications Group, said.
