Among her many career achievements, she led a team that developed the revolutionary double-V-hull design for the U.S. Army’s Stryker infantry combat vehicle, enhancing the vehicle’s protection against improvised explosive devices and ultimately saving lives.
She was senior vice president for engineering development and technology at General Dynamics Land Systems when she received the 2012 Technologist of the Year Award at the WOC STEM Awards gala.
