The next episode of High-Tech Sunday features Dr. Elodie Billionniere, an assistant professor in the School of Engineering + Technology at Miami Dade College, and Dr. Monique Ross, an assistant professor in Florida International University's Computing and Information Sciences.
Dr. Ross is the principal investigator (PI) on three National Science Foundation (NSF) grants, one foundation grant, and co-PI on two large scale grants. She is committed to the expansion of computer science education research at Florida International University (FIU) and nationally.
Dr. Billionniere is a program director and former PI (2018-2020) of STEM-Mia (“my STEM”), an NSF-funded project that provides science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) scholarships and supports to academically talented, low-income STEM students at Miami Dade College's Padrón Campus.
