After earning an electrical and computer engineering degree from Wayne State University, Regina Solomon began her career at General Dynamics as an entry-level engineer.
Currently, she serves as a lead systems engineer, responsible for system-level requirements and tasks, some of which include human factors, safety, architecture, and coordination of key customer milestone reviews.
Solomon has worked on a number of critical projects at General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS).
While on her rotational assignments, she was tasked with leveraging knowledge to navigate GDLS product knowledge and structures to reconcile billing and invoice requests out of program finance.
Solomon's innovation led to an overall reduction of outstanding cash payments from GDLS customers.
Next, she was entrusted to lead activities associated with a live-fire gunnery demonstration that created customer confidence and led to an acceleration of the Mobile Protected Firepower acquisition schedule by the U.S. Army.
