The COVID-19 pandemic has changed how people consume content. Now, the popular streaming service, Netflix, is considering live streaming.
This would mean that Netflix would be able to use it for live voting for competition series and talent contests such as its upcoming dance competition series Dance 100 from The Circle producer Studio Lambert.
Live streaming would give a new experience to audiences for unscripted and stand-up shows. According to sources, a small team within the company is in the preliminary stages of developing the product although Netflix doesn’t have a specific timeline.
As other streaming services such as Disney+ are exploring different live streaming experiences for their audiences, Netflix refuses to be left behind.

Competition shows would give the audience the opportunity to vote in real time and live shows such as reunion specials would allow the audience to experience Netflix in a way that they’ve never seen before on the platform.
