There's still time for you to nominate a leading woman in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for recognition at the annual Women of Color STEM Conference.
According to Tyrone Taborn, publisher of the Women of Color magazine and CEO of Career Communications Group, the company behind the Women of Color STEM Conference, employers send a strong message to their internal and external stakeholders by supporting a conference like Women of Color, which focuses on increasing the numbers of women in STEM and the problem of retention in STEM careers.
"It's important to invest in your people, to invest in good employees because there's a huge demand in STEM and the digital workforce," Taborn said.
Taborn said Women of Color STEM Conference awards alumnae must continue to make people aware of what's on offer at the annual Women of Color STEM Conference.
