The National Women's History Alliance (NWHA) has announced the 2022 Women’s History theme. According to the organization, “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope,” is a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during the pandemic and recognition of the ways that women have provided both healing and hope throughout history.
Instead of selecting national honorees as per tradition, the NWHA is encouraging groups throughout the country to use the theme to recognize and honor women in their own communities, organizations, or agencies, the press release said.
The National Women’s History Alliance, formerly known as the National Women’s History Project, is a leader in promoting Women’s History and is committed to the goals of education, empowerment, equality, and inclusion.
Women's History Month in the United States will begin on Tuesday, March 1, and ends on Thursday, March 31.
