On Friday, Career Communications Group will host its annual BEYA Leading Voices Summit online.
The summit will bring together top employers of scientific and technical talent and STEM experts from historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to understand how they unite with industry to harness innovation.
The event will cover topics such as successful partnerships led by vice presidents of research and development at HBCUs, milestones in technology development from ABET-accredited HBCU schools, creating an environment for technology companies to connect with HBCU leaders, and unveiling the 2024 Top Supporters of HBCUs List.
The "Winning Corporate Partnerships: HBCU and Industry Collaboration" session will examine the strategies, synergies, and success stories behind HBCU-industry partnerships, offering insights into their potential in shaping the future of technology, education, and workforce development.
The HBCU Engineering Innovation Roundtable will engage in a dialogue exploring the contributions of HBCUs to advancing STEM disciplines.
The "Empowering Workplaces: The Impact of HBCU Alumni on Modern Employers" panel features alums representing leading corporations and government agencies, discussing the transformative power of HBCUs.
Throughout the day, speakers will focus on answering questions about minorities in research science.
