The winners of the 30th WOC STEM Awards will be recognized in October. So far, more than 25 honorees across 10 categories have been announced.

The WOC STEM Awards honor individuals who excel in their fields and drive meaningful change and opportunities across the STEM landscape.
The awards are presented to trailblazers whose groundbreaking work in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics transforms industries and uplifts communities.
The award categories include Career Achievement, Community Service, Educational Leadership, FinTech Leadership, Managerial Leadership, New Media/IT Leadership, Outstanding Technical Contribution, Pioneer Award, President's Award, Professional Achievement, and Special Recognition.
Nominating organizations include IBM Research, Trellix, UL Solutions, Lockheed Martin, The Boeing Company, UL Research Institutes, South Mountain Community College, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, SAIC, Leidos Inc., the Girl In Space Club, General Motors, Abbott, Ford Motor Company, Jackson State University, Actalent, and Abbott Nutrition.
The 2025 WOC STEM Award recipients hold various job titles, including senior research software engineer, chief information officer, senior vice president and chief information security officer, software engineer, director and senior counsel, postsecondary education programs manager, geoscience professor, vice president and chief financial officer, branch head, chief technology officer, Ph.D. student, innovation coach, security engineer, CEO and founder, senior vice president of business and technology services and CIO, technology strategy senior manager, marketing manager, and professor of technology and emergency management.
The 2025 WOC STEM event marks its thirtieth anniversary, a significant milestone since its inception in the mid-1990s.
Over the years, WOC STEM attendees have gathered in cities such as Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, Detroit, and Baltimore.
This year's WOC Awards Ceremony, scheduled for late 2025, promises to be an inspiring occasion, bringing together leaders from industry and education to emphasize the crucial role of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in shaping our future.
