Gitanjli McRoy is chief engineer for electric vehicle management systems at Ford Motor Company. She has over 30 years of experience in product design.
During her tenure, Gitanjli has held various roles in powertrain, including over 10 years in electrification, where she has taken on positions of increasing responsibility.
As chief engineer of EV energy management systems, she is dedicated to designing fun and exciting products that are mindful of our carbon footprint.
Gitanjli's expertise in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), coupled with her emotional intelligence and courage, has inspired her teams to design optimal propulsion systems and mobility products for Ford's customers.
Her formal education and broad engineering experience provide the infrastructure for her success, and she continually advances her skill set to match the latest technological advancements.
Gitanjli's journey in engineering began as an internal combustion engine components Design & Release (D&R) engineer, which included both design and manufacturing aspects. She continued to gain breadth and influence people as an engineering supervisor of components, Quality, and Supply Base Development.
