Jennifer Onyi Oradiegwu is a 2018 Women of Color STEM Conference Special Recognition Honoree. The award-winning process engineer at Owens Corning in Starr, South Carolina, leads the Forming Area, which is anchored by the contributions of 75-plus technicians.
Jennifer is responsible for the reliability of the forming process as well as process stability, which affords the operations team the ability to run at high levels of net efficiency.
Through her technical leadership, the Starr location is aiming to eliminate process downtime. Jennifer's main focus has been on downtime across 16 systems of critical equipment.
Using deployment of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), which is geared at eradicating waste in the facility, she has been using focus Improvement tools to collect and analyze data to better predict main idler failure.
Jennifer has worked with operations and maintenance to become more predictive in planned downtime and has risen to high levels of leadership in the Starr Technical Group. She is a graduate of the esteemed Owens Corning
Manufacturing Leadership Program.
