Sandra Reyna is a senior finance manager at the Air Force, Department of Defense (DOD) Commands and Agencies Business Unit.
She compiles, analyzes, and presents financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities for customer groups; trains staff on system processes and functionality for SAIC; and assists in financial system upgrades. Reyna joined SAIC in 2011 as a staff accountant and progressed to senior finance manager, supporting various departments. Reyna completed a nomination-based program focused on accelerating the advancement of SAIC’s high-potential women at SAIC and earned a bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University.
Lysa Martinez is responsible for managing the finances and operations of the 912th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base, CA.
This squadron is responsible for testing 13 modified military aircraft, including planes like the C-17, KC-46, KC-135, B-1, B-2, B-21, and B-52. She manages financial accounts valued at over $2 million and initiates employee travel. Martinez’s leadership has resulted in a 25 percent increase in personnel recruitment and retention. The squadron has provided maintenance support for 38 aerial refueling missions and unloaded 500,000 pounds of fuel thanks to Martinez’s efforts.
