Kavita Vigneau is vice president of engineering within the technology team at the Quicken Loans mortgage lending company. She will be recognized at the 2020 Women of Color STEM Conference for more than 17 years of service.
She has been nominated multiple times for internal company awards. Her nominations have been for categories of “Top Producer” and “Best Direction.”
“Kavita’s technical and leadership contributions, combined with her relentless pursuit towards excellence, have had huge impacts on the success of Quicken Loans, and have literally helped shape the future of the mortgage industry,” said Josh Zook, senior vice president of engineering for Quicken Loans.
She has a continued track record in developing the careers of engineers and leaders on her team. She achieves this by identifying potential, setting challenging goals, and balances it with coaching to lead to the individual success of each of her team members.
Currently, she leads a team of technologists focused on building next-generation origination systems and transforming the lending industry.
