The Women of Color STEM Conference - Digital Twin Experience (DTX) will be celebrating 2023 award winners October 12-14. This yearly event, in partnership with Women of Color magazine, has been recognizing women in STEM fields since 1995. It offers opportunities for career growth, networking, education, and honors outstanding women in science, technology, engineering, and math.
Ana Lucia Ochoa-Lorenzini is the director of supply chain management in the metal forming division of American Axle & Manufacturing. With almost 25 years of service to the company, Ana has successfully directed 45 metal-forming plants across eight countries.
Her leadership has resulted in 100% delivery performance to customers, the implementation of a standardized PC&L strategy, and significant savings through logistics.
Ana Lucia has also promoted best practices among metal forming plants, improved team performance KPIs and metrics, and mentored many people in the workforce. She is a shining example for all women and members of the Latino community, demonstrating a work ethic that is second to none.
As a supply chain management executive, Ana Lucia has extensive global experience and has provided significant cost reductions. She leads and directs over 400 associates worldwide, driving manufacturing and administrative process improvements.
Her experience in procurement, program management, logistics, customs, materials, and manufacturing has equipped her with the hard and soft skills necessary to lead a multibillion-dollar global supply chain.
Ana Lucia also holds a business degree in international trade, which has given her a deep understanding of supply chain management and international business relationships.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Ana Lucia's interpersonal and communication skills have allowed her to establish trust and respect with people from diverse cultures. Her commitment to getting the job done and ability to energize teams make her an effective change agent who positively impacts all areas of an organization's supply chain.
