The conference edition of Women of Color magazine celebrates the 2024 Women of Color STEM award winners, with SAIC's Bridget Chatman on the cover.
Chatman, vice president of inclusion and diversity and corporate social responsibility, was honored for her role in driving SAIC’s Inclusion & Diversity and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, with focus on SAIC’s long-term goals and objectives to ensure I&D is an intrinsic part of SAIC culture.
Chatman joined SAIC in 2011 and was most recently a senior director of capture strategy and business development for SAIC’s civilian markets business, where she managed a $1 billion annual aviation and aerospace portfolio and led captures exceeding $200 million.
As the 2024 technologist of the year, Chatman was center stage during the gala at the 29th annual WOC STEM Conference held in Detroit and on the WOC STEM digital twin experience (DTX) platform.
SAIC executives and representatives from nominating organizations across America participated in three days of professional development seminars, workshops, exhibitions and award ceremonies.
The conference, which was held from Oct 3-5, marked the 29th edition of the annual multicultural event.
After almost a decade in Detroit, Michigan, WOC STEM DTX will reconvene in Baltimore for its 30th anniversary.
