Krystal Folkes is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect and works with retail customers as part of the app innovations team.
Krystal is active with the Blacks at Microsoft employee resource group and volunteers with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) organization, Black Girls Code, and a number of other endeavors.
She is dedicated to sharing her passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), whether it's providing material to teach coding to high school students or establishing relationships with young girls interested in STEM.
Her work has expanded with the Dallas/Fort Worth NSBE Professionals chapter. She has planned several Walks for Education, where members literally walk the streets to talk with residents about career opportunities in STEM.
Krystal also regularly volunteers with the Black Girls Code organization, helping to inspire young people icomputer science.
