It also provides opportunities for professional development and networking, promotes diversity in STEM careers, and highlights the success of women and minority groups.
Padmapriya, who was a manager in Northrop Grumman's Information Systems sector, received the Special Recognition award.
After she joined the company in 2002, she held various roles, including developer, solutions architect, and manager.
Her team provided architectural direction, selected tools, technology, and vendors, and ensured compliance with schedule, cost, and technical guidelines.
Padmapriya spent more than 18 years at Northrop Grumman as a senior technologist. In 2021, she joined Peraton Security as a director of technology.
She began her career in software development after earning a master's degree in science and technology development from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
