Female students at King University in Bristol, Tennessee, will be hosting a free STEM Day event scheduled for February 22.
According to the announcement, all activities at the one-day event will be led by Women in STEM, a club comprised of female students at King University who are studying programs in related fields.
Middle school girls with an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) have been invited to King for a day of career exploration and interactive workshops.
On the agenda are learning activities that use biology, chemistry, and engineering in fun and innovative ways. All activities are free, and lunch will be provided, the statement said.

According to the website, the network focuses on “kindergarten to jobs” and is developing high-quality STEM programming to further ensure Tennessee students are prepared for success in college and career and ready for the future of their choosing. The Network works to increase student interest and participation in STEM fields across the state.
