Kamani Padayachee, a business process analyst at Boston Scientific Corporation, was recently honored with the Community Service in Industry Award at the Women of Color STEM Conference.
This recognition not only celebrates her individual achievements but also underscores our company's commitment to diversity and inclusion in the STEM industry.
Throughout 2019, Kamani organized STEM-related events sponsored by Boston Scientific, reaching out to over a thousand K-12 students.
She also facilitated the connection between the Massachusetts STEM Council and the South Asians in Leadership employee resource group of Boston Scientific.
Additionally, Kamani organized health camps in India where cancer screening was provided to women and basic healthcare needs were met for children.
During the award presentation, Kamani shared her personal journey, highlighting how her anchoring in the spirit of giving back resonates with Boston Scientific's values, which she continues to uphold through her work and the global health camps she organizes.
