Jenney Shen, a 2018 Women of Color STEM Conference Special Recognition honoree, has worked at Fannie Mae since 2008.
As director of the modeling and analytics team that supported the U.S. Treasury’s Making Home Affordable Program, she led the development of a model that became an industry standard for valuing modifications.
Jenney's performance had an impact on the quality of service. Clients reported increases in service, which is a valued indicator of long-term success.
Jenney is an influential leader in Fannie Mae's Asian-American community. Besides mentoring her colleagues, she also serves as an executive sponsor for the Asian Employee Resource Group District of Columbia Metropolitan Region.
The employee resource group promotes the professional development of its members, organizes community outreach, and is a vital talent resource for Fannie Mae. She is currently Vice President for Single-Family Business.
