During her time at the company, Hippo has grown year-over-year. In 2019, Hippo earned its mark as an "Insurtech Unicorn" in July of that year.

Vijeyta has extensive experience in scaling up products and teams at startups and legacy technology companies.

Prior to Hippo, she led a mobile application at PayPal and established the product as a channel of consumer acquisition.

Under her leadership, app activations increased by 33% globally.

Before PayPal, she led the Billing and Payments product at Upwork, a leading marketplace for hiring freelancers.
