Mahathi Choudhry won a Special Recognition Award for Diversity Leadership at the 2018 Women of Color STEM Conference.
As an applications engineer at Intel, Mahathi has helped promote diversity and inclusion during her 13-year career.
In June 2020, she was recognized as a "Culture Champion" by the emerging growth and incubation group in Intel Capital.
She is a core member of Intel's Inclusion & Diversity Workshop Design and Rollout.
Mahathi is "deeply passionate about making contributions to corporate product management, visualization of technical content, and diversity & inclusion strategies."
She mentors emerging professionals and is an active participant in employee resource groups.
Her internal awards include a "Truth and Transparency Culture Award" from the Internet of Things (IoT) Group Industrial Solutions Division. She received the award for her efforts in enabling a psychological safety panel and content along with the team.
Mahathi also led a Mother’s Room Improvement project in her department, which involved discussions with working mothers, as well as meetings with the company’s facilities manager. >
Her efforts led to the addition of a privacy screen, towel dispensers, table fans, couches, lead-free paint, and other additions for the mothers.
She was also part of a project aimed to encourage high school girls through hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) workshops.
