Recently Olabisi Boyle, seen here with the founder of the Women of Color in STEM Conference, was a presenter at Tech Talk during the BEYA STEM Conference held February 14.
Boyle, Vice President of Internet of Things at VISA, discussed the delivery of smart, secure, and invisible technology that brings payment convenience to everyday life.
She spoke about Visa’s vision for the future of payment and how commerce technology reflects evolving consumer behavior. She also explored how the Internet of Things (IoT) enhances the payment experience in connected devices in a manner that is secure.

In her previous role as senior director of VISA's Internet of Things (IoT) program, Boyle oversaw activities related to the connected car category.
Prior to joining VISA, she worked at Chrysler Automotive, rising to director for engineering, planning and technical cost reduction at Fiat Chrysler.
Boyle also served as chief engineer for the 2011 MY Chrysler Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan Minivans. Before joining Chrysler, Boyle worked at Ford Motor Company from 1995 through 2004 in various engineering and manufacturing positions.
In 2012, she received the Women of Color Award for Managerial Leadership, recognizing her "accomplishments in leading and managing a significant part of a technology enterprise and her example to women working to move beyond what is considered traditional roles for women." She was previously recognized as a Women of Color Technology Rising Star.
