Baltimore- Feb. 10, 2022 - Communications Group (CCG) launched Stem City USA in 2021. This platform is designed to bring the resources needed for career success to young people as well as connect professionals in STEM careers. The virtual community environment aims to close the digital divide and provide K-12 students with access to benefit from online learning opportunities.
BEYA Stars & Stripes is proud to present Career Day, taking place on the Stem City USA Platform. BEYA Career Day teen ambassadors, Salihah Hurst and Moria Bowman, will sit down with Dr. Carjie Scott, Co-Founder & Chairman of the Board of The Education Equalizer, to discuss how to be successful when applying to college.
This event is part of CCG’s ongoing effort to bring people into the metaverse, a combination of multiple elements of technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality and video where users "live" within a digital universe.
“Providing resources for young people to thrive is a very important part of CCG’s mission. Career Day is the perfect place for K-12 students to start planning their educational future,” Dr. Tyrone Taborn, CEO of Career Communications Group, said.
