Christina Upah is a highly accomplished professional at The Boeing Company. Currently, she is vice president of attack helicopter programs and senior site executive in Mesa, Arizona.
Throughout her career, Christina has led the execution of billion-dollar development programs, including the AH-64 Apache Version 6. She also successfully negotiated the Apache Direct Commercial Sales program.
Christina served as the director of international Apache programs. In this role, she led the program execution of foreign military sales and direct commercial sales, supporting international customers.
Under Christina's leadership, Boeing recently announced that it would produce 184 AH-64E Apache, including the first Apache for Australia and other clients.
Christina inspires her team to meet the production rate to build the AH-64 Apache for the U.S. Army and defense customers across the globe. She is regarded as a true leader who instills a passion for excellence in her team.
Christina began her career at Boeing in 1997, starting as an electrical technician. She has since risen to lead over 4,600 employees. Her team designs, produces, and delivers innovative AH-64 Apache and AH-6 Little Bird helicopters to various defense forces.
Christina's work is critical to national safety and security. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, program definition and execution, customer rapport, and selection and mentorship of staff and subcontractors.
Christina maintains strong working relationships with government organizations, industry suppliers, customers, and representatives of the US government. This ensures the successful execution of program strategies and objectives.
